GEORGE ALLAN CRAMP (1916 - 2000) George Allen Cramp was born October 21, 1916. George is survived by his wife M.E. (Beth) Cramp; a son F.A. (Rick) and his wife Elizabeth of Oxford Mills, ON, and granddaughters, Wendy and Cindy; daughter E.S. (Susan) Jackson and her husband Bill of Peterborough, ON and granddaughters, Karen and Laura; and daughter L.J. (Lorraine) Cramp of Winnipeg. George joined Inland Steel & Forgings Ltd. in 1945 and retired in 1981 as General Manager. He graduated from the University of Manitoba in 1943 with a Bachelor of Commerce Degree. He was a member of the First Church of Christ Scientist, where he has held such offices as Treasurer and Chairman of the Board. He enjoyed gardening for the last 25 years and sharing the produce of the garden with his friends. He also enjoyed the challenge of computers and enjoyed Creative Retirement. George died in Toronto at Sharon House, a Christian Science Nursing Home. We wish to express our heartfelt thanks to the nursing staff for their loving care. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held on Friday, September 22 at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Ave. A reception will follow in the Chapel Lawn Reception Centre. In lieu of flowers if friends so desire, donations may be made in Georges memory to Sharon House Corporation, 24 Montgomery Rd., Toronto, ON M8X 1Z4.
