GABRIEL HUDSON Peacefully at the Riverview Health Centre with his wife, daughters, son and niece Lillian at his bedside, Gabriel Hudson passed away at the age of 58 years. Gabriel was born at Poplar River on February 18, 1942, spending most of his life in Winnipeg. He was predeceased by his mother Nancy, father Boniface and brother Charlie. He leavhes to cherish his beautiful memory special companion Charlotte; wife Sylvia; two daugters, Eileen and Shelley, both of Edmonton; sons, Roger of Edmonton and Alfred of Fort Assiniboine; six grandchildren; brother Alex; sisters, Mary and Ila. There are numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Prayers will be said on Tuesday, September 19 at 7:00 p.m. at the Aboriginal Funeral Chapel, 724 Selkirk Avenue, Winnipeg. Wake services will be held on Wednesday, September 20 and Thursday, September 21 at the Grand Rapids Band Hall. Funeral service will be held on Friday, September 22 at 2:00 p.m. at the Roman Catholic Church, Grand Rapids, Manitoba with Rev. Linda Ballantyne officiating. Interment to follow at St. Johns Cemetery. Honorary pallbearers are the Ballantyne and Hudson families. Active pallbearers will be Roger, Raymond, David, Angus, Ben and Horace.
