Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryDAVID A. BIRKMYRE On Sunday, September 17, 2000, at the Health Sciences Centre, David Birkmyre passed away at the age of 87. He will be sadly missed by his wife Helene, of 51 years; daughters, Diane, Nancy (Bill) grandchildren, Laura (Brent), Lindsey, and Kaelyn. He is also survived by his sister Dell Roberts of Regina; and nephews, Jim (Chris), Jeff (Heather), and family. Dad retired in 1976 after working 36 years at CP Transport. In his early retirement years, before his sight loss, he enjoyed playing bridge, whist, and crib. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Ave., on Wednesday, September 20 at 3:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to your favourite charity.
