ANNA MURIEL EIS (RANKIN) Passed away peacefully at the Cowichan District Hospital, Duncan, B.C. on August 23, 2000. Born in Winnipeg on February 10, 1931. Predeceased by her brother, Alex, she is lovingly remembered by her family: husband, Walter; daughters and their families, Naomi and Dave George and granddaughter, Sarah Rose (Dallas, Texas), and Leanne and Dale Embree and grandson Wesley (Squamish B.C.) sisters and their families, Myrtle and Art Martin (Winnipeg), and Bernice Rankin (Winnipeg), and many other relatives. Anna was a 25 year member of Pythian Sisters Maple Temple No. 20. She enjoyed temple activities and gained many special friends from this group. The family would like to thank Dr. Dave Froese for his many years of care and kindness to Anna. Also thank you to Dr. Szabo and other staff of the Cowichan District Hospital for their kind care. Thanks also to friends who helped her during her long illness.
