Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryWILLIAM TURNBULL Suddenly and peacefully on Monday, September 18, 2000, Bill passed away at his home in Winnipeg. Bill was born on March 18, 1941 in Kilmarnock, Scotland. Bill came to Canada in 1973 and settled in Winnipeg, working at Boeing, Flyer and most recently with St. James Assiniboia School Division. He will be sadly missed by his family, Margaret, Bill (Nikki) and Colin (Jamie). His grandchildren, Nicholas, Jennifer and Tiana will dearly miss their "Papa". Bill also leaves behind his brother, sisters and their families in Scotland as well as those who knew and loved him in North America. An avid sports fan, Bill took great pride in his grandchildren and often attended their sporting events, recitals and Christmas concerts. Bill also enjoyed spending time with family and meeting friends for coffee. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held at 3:00 p.m., Friday, September 22 at Neil Bardal Inc., 984 Portage Ave., Aubrey Street entrance, with Major and Mrs. L. Ashwell of the Salvation Army officiating. A second service will be held at a future date in Scotland where he will rest in peace.
