ROBERT (BOB) KRINDLE February 26, 1951 - September 15, 2000 It is with sorrow that we announce the death of Bob Krindle on September 15, 2000. Bob died at his home in Maple Ridge, BC, surrounded by his family. He was 49 years of age. Bob was born in Winnipeg, the youngest child of Harold and Gwen Krindle, both of whom predeceased him. He attended public school in West Kildonan, graduated in Arts and in Law from the University of Manitoba and was called to the bar of Manitoba. Upon receiving his call, he moved to British Columbia and made that province his home. He worked for many years for BC Hydro until the onset of cancer four years ago forced his retirement. During a period of remission, he was able to fulfil a longtime wish and complete a commercial cooking course. His health never allowed him to use that training professionally, but he relished the ability to cook and bake for family and friends. He is survived, in Maple Ridge, by his wife Debra White and his children, Ethan aged 17 and Tiki aged 15. He leaves, in Winnipeg, his brother Dave, sister Ruth and their families. He leaves here also many close friends whose support and friendship during these last difficult years were very meaningful to him. In accordance with his wishes, cremation has taken place. There will be no service. If friends so desire, donations in Bobs memory can be made to your local public library. Internet access to the books at the Maple Ridge Public Library helped to make his life enjoyable long after his body began to fail him.
