ANNE HILDEGARD HOGBERG (nee SEEBAUER) Peacefully, at the age of 89 years, at the Health Sciences Centre, our Dear Mother, Grandmother, and Great-grandmother passed away with her family by her side. Anne was predeceased by her husband Herbert (1987) sister Genny (Jean) Holmes (1977) and brother Felix Seebauer (1975) her mother Christina (1915) and her father Joseph (1951). Mother will be sadly missed by her son Wayne Hogberg (Sherry) daughter Sharon Cameron (Jim) granddaughter Dawn Cameron and friend Randy; grandson Darren Cameron (Christine) and her one month old great-grandchild Justin Cameron. Annes grandchildren all reside in Calgary, AB; her sister-in-law Mattie Seebauer in Big Rapids, Mich. As well as numerous nieces and nephews. Not to mention her two furry friends, Goofus and Tigger the cats. Mother was born in Brandon, MB and came to Winnipeg as a young woman. She met her beloved husband Herb and they were married in 1940. She often said that was the best thing that ever happened to her. Mother enjoyed life. She always had a beautiful smile for everyone she met. Mom devoted her time to her husband, children and grandchildren, her friends and her neighbours. When her grandchildren were small you could always find mom at the community centre participating in various activities and sports with them and other children in the area. She enjoyed bowling, preparing meals on festive occasions, and most of all entertaining for everyone she loved. She was employed as a clothes spotter for Dubois Dry Cleaners (1961-1965) and Scotts Dry Cleaners (1965-1970). Over the past six years, Mom required constant medical attention. We would like to thank Doctors E. Braun, J. Embil, and W. Kepron, the nursing staff at the Seven Oaks General Hospital, on the 4th and 5th floors, and the Health Sciences Centre (Unit GA4), also the VON nurses, and home care attendants. Thank you for your compassion and caring. YOU ARE ALL ANGELS!! If friends so desire, a donation can be made in memory of Anne to the Canadian Diabetes Association, 102 - 310 Broadway Ave, Winnipeg, MB R3C 0S6.
