Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryLEONARD JAMES (KEE KEE) STARR April 6, 1933 - September 19, 2000 It is with great sorrow and sadness that we announce the sudden passing of our beloved father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, uncle and friend Leonard James (Kee Kee) Starr on Tuesday, September 19, 2000 at the age of 67 years. Dad cherished his children and grandchildren and always joined us to celebrate our special occasions, gifting us with the presence of both of our parents. Dad was very proud of his brothers and he adored his sisters. He was very fond of his numerous nieces and nephews. Dad had a great sense of humour and he was the happiest when he was surrounded by family and friends. His memory will be lovingly cherished forever by his children and grandchildren, Marlene (Rueben) and sons, Chris, Richard and Leonard; Leonard (MayLynn) and children, Terry, Chuck, Amanda, Misty, Cody, Carlene, Charles; Paulette and son Garry; Irene (Jeff) and sons, Andrew, Allen; Robert and children, Lindsay, Garrett; Andrew (Tammy) Loreen (Gary) and daughters, Maddy, Katie, Lindsay; Gina and daughters, Destiny, Taylor; Billy Joe (Kent) Katherine (Tenzin) and children, Jessica, Justin; Leslie (Chad). Also mourning our great loss are his surviving sisters, Doris McAuley and Sarah Beaulieu, his numerous nieces and nephews and his friends at Point Douglas Manor, especially Al and Fred. Dad was predeceased by our Mom, Hilda Starr; his children, James and Lindeen Starr and Kenneth Nielands; his parents, Charles and Emma Starr; brothers, William and Eddy Kubb, Angus, Russell and Howard Starr; sisters, Lydia Starr and Katherine Reimer. A wake will take place in Sandy Bay at the residence of Sarah and Joseph Beaulieu. Funeral Mass will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 23 in Sandy Bay. A gathering of family and friends will take place after the service. Clarkes Funeral Home of Gladstone, Man. in care of arrangements.
