EDNA EDITH BAUER (nee PURPUR) Peacefully, on September 20, 2000 at the Health Sciences Centre, surrounded by her family, Edna Bauer passed away at the age of 75 years. Edna will be missed by her husband William; children, Donna (Maurice) Laliberte, Bill (Heather), Jim (Lucy), Kevin, Doug (Val), and Curt (Cynthia) eleven grandchildren, Ken, Michelle, Marc, Chris, Jeannette, Kyle, Casey, Ben, Colby, Alyssa and Blake; two great-grandchildren, Jewel and Cole; brothers, Carl (Eleanor) and Donald (Fran) aunt Margaret (Fred) Wickens; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Edna was a wonderful wife, a devoted mother and grandmother. She lived for her family and friends. She will be deeply missed and always remembered. Special thank-you to the cancer unit, the dialysis unit and the MICU department of the Health Sciences Centre. Funeral service 11:00 a.m. Saturday, September 23 at Grace Lutheran Church, 211 Kimberly Ave. with Pastor Bruce Gelhorn officiating.
