PAULINE SHANNON (nee LANGEVIN) It is with great sorrow and sadness that we announce the sudden passing of our mother, grandmother and sister Pauline Shannon, (nee Langevin) aged 68 years, on Thursday, September 21 at St. Boniface Hospital. Pauline had been secretary to the Manitoba Liberal Party for many great years. She was later employed by Air Canada. Pauline gave of herself by doing voluntary work and helping others. The love she gave and her zest for life was for her family, grandchildren and her charitable work. Her garden at the ranch, holidays in the South and the companionship and love and sharing that she gave to a special man in her life, will always be cherished and remembered. Left to mourn her passing are John her companion and best friend of 28 years; her three sons, Marc (Rita) Shannon, two grandsons, Patrick and John Paul of Calgary, Timothy (Nadine) Shannon, two grandchildren, Corey and Roxanne, Kelly (Karen) Shannon, six grandchildren, Dawn, Kaylee, Zandra (and their mother Moira), Chris, Laina and Keighlon. She also leaves four sisters, Irene Gregoire, Mel (Larry) Desjardins, Florence (Leo) Chenier, all of Winnipeg and Lorraine (Doug) Hubbert of Toronto. Pauline was predeceased by brother Wilfred Langevin. Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, September 25 at St. Bernadette Church, 820 Cottonwood Rd. Interment and reception to follow.
