MARY ELLEN (NANNY) CORRIGAN Peacefully, with her family by her side, Mary Corrigan, aged 60 years, of Ste. Agathe, passed away at the St. Boniface General Hospital on Thursday, September 21, 2000. Nanny leaves to mourn her passing two daughters, one son, and their families: Mary Lou and husband Michel Raffard, children, Alec, Eric, and Jacques, of Ste. Agathe; Robert and wife Lena, daughters, Mairynn and Maiya, of Edmonton; and Terra Lynn Corrigan and husband Tony Chartier, daughter Rebekka, of Aubigny. Also surviving are two sisters and two brothers, Marion Pinkerton of Sidney, Cape Breton; John and Patricia Pinkerton of Waterloo, Ont.; Essie and John Murphy of New Waterford, Cape Breton; and Willena and Donald Schaump of Sidney, Cape Breton; as well as many nieces, nephews, and friends. Cremation and a private family funeral service have taken place. The interment of Nannys cremated remains will follow at a later date in Cape Breton.
