JOHN PRAYMAK On Thursday, September 21, 2000 at Seven Oaks Hospital, John Praymak, aged 81 years, beloved husband of Anne. John was born, raised and educated in Fort William. He was employed as a machinist at CP Rail for 37 years, retiring in 1984. John served in the Armed Forces from 1940 - 1946 and was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 141. Since January, he attended the Get-Away Club twice weekly where he immensely enjoyed the company of many new friends and companions. Besides his beloved wife Anne, John leaves to cherish his memory one son Ken (Pat) granddaughter Celina (Chris) and her mother Bernice (Matt) brother-in-law Mike (Josie) Kolida; sister Olga (Larry) Rasmus of Thunder Bay; numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his parents; brothers, Mike and Peter and sister Mary. Funeral service will be held 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, September 26 at Korban Funeral Chapel, 907 Main St. with Rev. Deacon N. Kohuch officiating. Interment to follow in Holy Family Cemetery. Pallbearers will be his Comrades from Legion Branch 141. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Get-Away Club, Deer Lodge Centre, 2109 Portage Ave., Winnipeg, MB, R3J 0L3.
