DOROTHY McGUIRE (nee FERGUS) It is with great sadness that we announce the death of our mother, grandmother and aunt, Dorothy McGuire, at the age of 80 years. On Tuesday, September 19, 2000, Mother passed away peacefully, shortly after visiting with her family at Riverview Health Centre where she lived for the past year. She will be missed very much by her son Brian, wife Darlene, grandson Adam; daughter Janice Whittaker, grandson Cody; nephew Steve, wife Nancy and their daughters, Sherry and Kendra. In accordance with Dorothys wishes, there will be no service. A gathering of family and friends will be held on Sunday, September 24 between the hours of 1:00 and 3:00 p.m., at Brian and Darlenes residence at 558 Wilton Bay. Dorothys family would like to express their heartfelt appreciation to Nancy...your help with Mother meant so much to her and to us. Our family would also like to thank the staff at Riverview Health Centre for making Dorothy feel at home. We entrusted you with taking care of a very special lady and you rose to the challenge and beyond.
