CORNELIUS REIMER With his family at his side, Cornelius Reimer, age 75, went to his much longed for eternal rest on Saturday, September 23, 2000. Cornelius was predeceased by his parents, Johann and Aganetha (Martens) Reimer and his three brothers. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 50 years Anna; his children and grandchildren, Alfred (Diana) and their daughter Amy; Elma (Jake) Dyck and their children, Robert (Veronika), Alvin and Angela; Eva (Craig) Sidwall and their children, Katherine and Mathew; Marlene (Darren) Johnston and their daughter Grace; as well as by his four sisters and many other relatives and friends. Heartfelt thanks to the staff at Concordia Hospital who showed Dad compassionate care during his stay. The family is also extremely grateful to nieces and nephews, Henry (Mary) Braun, John (Sara) Braun, Wanda Klassen, Peter (Esther) Penner, Willy (Chris) Reimer and friend Peter Klassen, who spent many hours sitting with Dad; as well as the many friends who showed their support through faithful visits. Dad appreciated your expressions of love very much. Viewing will take place on Tuesday, September 26 at 7:00 p.m. at Glen Eden Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, September 27 at 1:30 p.m. at the Sommerfelder Mennonite Church, 345 Simcoe Street.
