NICHOLAS J. YUSSACK September 28, 1914- September 21, 2000 It is with great sadness that the family announces the passing of Nicholas J. Yussack on Thursday, September 21, 2000 at the Grace Hospital. Nick was predeceased by his wife Victoria; parents, Demetro and Anielka; brothers, Victor, Peter, William and sister Mary. Nick is survived by his sister Pauline Napady; brother Mike Yussack(Anita) four nephews, two nieces and their families; Victorias children, Linda Boyd (Jim), Janie Douglas (John), Don Halechko; three grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Born in Winnipeg on September 28, 1914, Nick enjoyed 45 years working as a butcher for a number of meat-packing plants, and he served in the army for 3 years during the second World War. He married Victoria in 1972, and together they opened Yussacks Grocery and Meats. Nick will be sadly missed by many dear friends. Prayer and Funeral Services will be held at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St. at Luxton Avenue. Prayers will be offered at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, September 26 and the Funeral Service at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, September 27. Rev. Doug Martindale will officiate. Interment will follow at All Saints Cemetery. Honourary Pallbearers will be Eddie Kantyluk, Jim Gottfried, Barry Thomas, Richard Wishnowski and Trevor Flynn. Active Pallbearers will be Rob Yussack, Larry Yussack, Gordie Penny, Glen Kantyluk, Clinton Gottfried and Kyle Kalcsis. If friends so desire, a donation to a charity of personal choice may be offered in Nicks memory. The family wish to express sincere thanks and appreciation to the I.C.U. staff at the Grace Hospital for all their care, kindness and compassion.
