BERTHA SACHVIE Peacefully, in the early hours of September 23, 2000 with her niece, Marilyn Swain by her side, our Heavenly Father and Great Physician called Bertha home to be with Him. She fought a good fight which allowed her family the opportunity to wish her well. Funeral service will be held at St. Pauls Lutheran Church, Green Bay, MB, on Wednesday, September 27 at 2:00 p.m., with Pastor Arleen Berg officiating. Viewing will be at 1:00 p.m. prior to the service. Interment will be at the Green Bay Cemetery with lunch to follow in the church basement. Bertha was born on April 23, 1915 in Friedensfeld and later moved to Green Bay, Winnipeg and Beausejour. Bertha worked hard all her days and found great joy in her Lord, visitors, babies and birds. She will be sadly missed by Edward, Henry (and Wanda), Jake (and Tilly), Alvena (and Harold Werner), Gottlieb (and Adele), Linda Kletke, August (and Irma), brother in-law Fred Rosin, and many nieces and nephews and their children, and many friends. She was predeceased by her mom and dad, Edward and Maria; and siblings, Caroline, Mathilda Kletke, Ferdinand, Mary Wonnick (her twin), Reyena Rosin; and brothers-in-law, Bill Kletke and Louis Wonnick. Thank you to the staff of Beausejour and Selkirk hospital and Dr. Hussain, who gave a little extra of themselves to make Bertha feel at home and comfortable during her stay with them. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Pauls Lutheran Church Memorial Fund, Green Bay, MB. Aunt Bertha....you "told" us stories of your life and you "showed" us how to conquer death. Now until we meet again....Peace, Joy and Abundant Love be yours as you celebrate with those who have gone before you. Rest now in your Saviors Arms. You will never be forgotten. We love you.
