MARY THERESA YOUNG The death occurred Sunday, September 24, 2000 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital, Fredericton, N.B. of Mary Theresa Young, of Horizons Special Care Home, and formerly of Charters Settlement, N.B. Born at Sackville, N.B., she was the daughter of the late Daniel J. and Mary Eliza (Hastings) Kennedy. She was employed at the Admiral Beatty Hotel in Saint John before moving to Toronto, where she was employed at the Park Plaza Hotel. She was a resident of Charters Settlement since 1986. She was predeceased by her husband, John Francis Young; two brothers, George Kennedy of Moncton, N.B. and Gilbert Kennedy of Rothesay, N.B.; two sons, John Gilbert and Kenneth Hubert. She is survived by two daughters, Velma C. Jones, of Charters Settlement and Jeanette E. Beaman of Oshawa, Ont.; four sons, Daniel of Winnipeg, Man., David of Bobcaygeon, Ont., Cecil of Acton, Ont. and Richard of Toronto, Ont., nine grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews, one foster-son Francis E. Jacques of Saint John. Resting at McAdams Funeral Home, 160 York St., Fredericton, with visitation Wednesday, September 27 from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Funeral at McAdams Chapel on Thursday, September 28 at 2:00 p.m., Pastor Eustace Marshall officiating. Interment following in the Hermitage Cemetery, Woodstock Rd., Fredericton. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the charity of the donors choice.
