MARY TROBE SHINETON Born November 3, 1920 in Blyth, Northumberland, England. Died on Sunday, September 24, 2000 in McCreary, MB, in her 80th year. Predeceased by her husband John Olaf Henry Shineton and her daughter Susan Jane Shineton. She is survived by her son Barrie Shineton and his wife Diane; her daughter Linda Shineton and her partner Gordon Mitchell; and grandchildren, Jenny and Danielle Shineton, Marit, Charlotte and Joseph Mitchell. Survived also by brother-in-law Norman Shineton; sisters-in-law, Marie Shineton and Marit Love; and by Susans partner Gerald Butterfield; as well as by two brothers and two sisters in England and Scotland. Cremation has taken place. Funeral service to be held Friday, September 29 at 2:00 p.m. at the McCreary Municipal Cemetery. Family and friends welcome. Tea to follow at the McCreary Legion Auxiliary Hall. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Winnipeg Humane Society, 5 Kent St., Winnipeg, MB R2L 1X3. Dobchuk Funeral Home, McCreary, entrusted with arrangements.
