RUDOLF SAGER Peacefully with his wife and friend by his side, Rudolf Sager went to be with the Lord on Friday, September 22, 2000 at the Health Sciences Centre in Winnipeg. He was predeceased by his parents, Wilhelm Sager and Ida (nee Jeske) two brothers, Adolf, and Gustav; brother-in-law Kurt Gradtke; sister-in-law Else Sager. He leaves to cherish his memory his wife Wally here in Winnipeg, his stepson Prof. Dr. K. Peter (Margitta) Ossenkopp and two grandchildren, Karl-Ludwig and Karin Ossenkopp in London, ON. Sister Olga Gradtke and nephew Luthar; brother Arthur (Ruth) and nieces, Renate (Harald) Uckel and Marlene Braune in Germany; and many relatives and friends. Funeral service will be held on Thursday, September 28 at 12:30 p.m. at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Ave., with Rev. John Friesen and Mr. Hertam officiating. Interment will follow in Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens. A gathering of family and friends will be held in the Chapel Lawn Reception Centre. Special thanks go to the doctors and nursing staff at the Health Sciences Centre GA4 wing and GH6 wing. Your kindness and compassion at a very difficult time was greatly appreciated.
