WILLIAM KOSMUK April 1, 1927 - September 24, 2000 Suddenly, after a brief illness, Bill passed away at the Concordia Hospital on Sunday, September 24, 2000. Bill will be sadly missed by Eve (Dora) his beloved wife of 54 years; his sons, Rick (Valdine), Nick (Marni) his grandchildren, Susan (Giac), Jodie, Julie (Chad), Jayme (Ross) and Jillian; sister Joan (Fred) Cartwright and numerous nieces and nephews. He is also survived by his brother-in-law Michael Arseny and sister-in-law Minnie Kosmuk. Bill was predeceased by his Mom and Dad; brother George; sisters, Ann, Doreen and Evelyn. William was born April 1, 1927 in Winnipeg, MB and grew up in the Point Douglas area of the city. Bill enjoyed a long and enjoyable career at Imperial Oil for over 30 years from which he retired in 1987. Our family would like to express deepest gratitude to the emergency staff at the Concordia Hospital for their care, compassion and great effort. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of your choice in Williams name. Funeral service will be held in the chapel of the Glen Eden Funeral Home, 4477 Main St. on Thursday, September 28 at 11:00 a.m. with viewing one half hour prior to the service. Interment Garden of Prayer, Glen Eden Memorial Gardens. A gathering of family and friends will follow in the Glen Eden Reception Centre.
