Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryPHILLIP JOSEPH SETEK After a lengthy illness, Phillip, passed away on Sunday, September 24, 2000 to Eternal Everlasting Peace. He was 58 years of age and was born and lived his entire life in Winnipeg. Left to mourn his passing and to cherish his memory are his loving family, brothers, Edward (Carole), Adolph (Helen) of Winnipeg; sister Elizabeth (Peter) of California; nieces and nephews, Anysia Mayer (Laurence), Gregory Henry (Molly), Tricia Setek, Garret and Erin Setek and great-nephew Luke Henry. Phillip was employed for his entire working career of some 30 years at the Winnipeg Free Press. He enjoyed his work and all the many friends he had made over the years. Unfortunately, due to his illness, he was forced to leave the Free Press in 1992. Phillip will always be fondly remembered for his kindness and generosity by all who knew him. He was predeceased by his mother and father. Special thanks to the staff on the sixth floor of the Rehab Centre. Prayers will be said on Thursday, September 28 at 7:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main Street. Funeral Service will be held on Friday, September 29, at 10:00 a.m. also at Cropo Chapel with Rev. Ken Pawluk officiating. Interment will follow in All Saints Cemetery. If friends so desire, donations may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association, Suite 102-310 Broadway, Wpg., R3C 0S6. "Your memory is our keepsake, with which well never part.
