THELMA ISABELLE GRAHAM (nee DURHAM) On Friday, September 22, 2000, Thelma passed away peacefully at the Golden West Centennial Lodge, Winnipeg, at the age of 85 years. Thelma leaves to mourn her three daughters, Arlene Davis and husband Leighton of Lunenburg, NS; Gail Roberts and husband Bil of Winnipeg; and Heather Smith and husband Brian of Kanata ON. Sadly missing their Grandma are grandchildren, Kat Roberts and fiance Darby Newnham of Pelly Crossing, Yukon; Bill Roberts and wife Kari of Calgary, AB, and Angela and Amanda Smith of Kanata, On. She leaves a brother Morris Durham of Killarney, MB, and a sister Malo of Belmont, MB. Besides her loving husband Jack, who predeceased her on February 2, 1994, Thelma was also predeceased by her sister Evelyn and her brother Lorne, both of Belmont, MB. She was born on November 6, 1914 in Belmont, MB to George E. and Margaret Durham. In 1939 she married Jack Graham of Stockton, MB and they moved to Winnipeg after living two years in Sheridan, MB. They resided in St. James and were members of the St. James Anglican Church. Thelma had a wonderful gift for playing the piano; it was one of the great joys of her life, which she generously shared with her family and friends. Thelmas Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, September 28 at 11:00 a.m., in the Chapel in the Golden West Centennial Lodge, 811 School Rd., with Reverend Canon John Caird and Major Daphne Maye officiating. Interment will be held on Friday, September 29 at 11:00 a.m., in the St. James Anglican Cemetery, 525 Tylehurst. Street. Our family would like to express a sincere thanks to the Home Care team at the Courts of St. James, Oakview Daycare Program and Extendicare,and to the loving, caring staff at the Golden West Centennial Lodge.
