Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryJOHN JAMES HODGE On September 25, 2000, at St. Boniface Hospital, John James Hodge, beloved husband of Dorothy, died at the age of 76 years. Besides his wife, he is survived by daughter Georgina (Norm) Miller; son Wade (Terri) Decock, all of Winnipeg; grandchildren, Alana (Ryan) Morneau, Dorian Miller, Daniel Peddle, Tara and Lyndsey Decock and Aaron Decock; great-grandchildren, Korden, Austen and Haydyn Morneau John was predeceased by son and daughter-in-law Scott and Barb Decock. John worked as a professional driver for 50 years, employed by several companies and ultimately as an owner operator. He enjoyed his long drives out to the country to stop and watch the wildlife. He was particularly fond of spending time with his grandchildren. We will miss his quick wit and one-liners and trucker jokes. He will truly be missed. In accordance with his wishes, cremation will take place Thursday, September 28; also no service will be held. His ashes will be scattered in the country at a later date. Honorary pallbearers are Earl Bauer, Bill Bauer, Lloyd Bauer, Ken Johnson, Norm Miller and Ray Robinson. Special thanks to a very good friend Raymond Robinson.
