GERALD "GERRY" ROLAND CARON Peacefully, on Tuesday, September 26, 2000 Gerald Caron passed away. He was 70 years old. He will be sadly missed by his loving wife Susan (nee Wiebe) daughters, Suzanne Dubois (Dan Young), Jeannette (Frank) Darin, Annette (Roger) Charette, Louise (Ted) Kulchiski and Tracy (Dave Spivak) his grandchildren, Daniel, Janelle, Paul, Brett, Tanner, Jenna-Marie, T.J. and Corrine; sister Denise (George) Ketter and numerous nieces and nephews. Gerry was predeceased by his parents, Auguste and Flore and sister Elaine. Gerry spent his youth in St. Pierre-Jolys, attending Otterburne School and St. Boniface College. After retiring from the Canadian National Railway where he was employed as an Electrician, Gerry enjoyed volunteering at the St. Boniface Hospital and meeting his friends for coffee. Gerry enjoyed spending time and playing cards with his grandchildren. He was always very proud of his five daughters. The funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 30 at St. Bernadette Roman Catholic Church, 820 Cottonwood Rd. A gathering of family and friends will follow in the parish hall. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association, 102-310 Broadway, Winnipeg, MB R3C 0S6.
