FLORENCE MARY VANDAL (Nee BATEMAN) Suddenly, on Sunday, September 24, 2000, Florence Vandal of West St. Paul passed away at the Seven Oaks Hospital at the age of 80 years. Florence was born in Wales on July 1, 1920. She immigrated to Canada in 1926 with her parents and brother Billy. Florence met Lawrence in Gods Lake where they were married on June 1, 1939. They raised their family in West St. Paul where Florence worked at the Municipal Hall and Middlechurch Home. She was predeceased by her only brother Bill in 1974; her husband of 50 years in 1989 and by her only son, Ron in the same year. Florence will be lovingly remembered and forever missed by her daughters, Isabelle (Floyd), Carol, Jo-Anne (Larry) and Melody (Dave). Mom was very proud of her 13 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. She was eagerly awaiting the birth of two more great-grandchildren and so very happy about the improvement in the youngest, (Samanthas) health. Cremation has taken place and a Memorial Service will be held on Friday, September 29, at 11:00 a.m. in St. Pauls Middlechurch Anglican Church, 299 Balderstone Road, West St. Paul.
