ANNA FUNK 1919 - 2000 After a lengthy illness, it is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of our dear mother and grandmother, Anna Funk (nee Fehr), age 81, of Winnipeg, formerly of Blumenort, on Tuesday, September 26, 2000 at the Victoria Hospital, Winnipeg. She was predeceased by her husband Jacob on March 25, 1980; She will be lovingly remembered by daughters, Barbara Funk, Marjorie and Glenn Penner; son Isaac James and Jean Funk and four grandchildren, Jasmine, Jess, William James and Alan, all of Winnipeg. Funeral service will be held today, Thursday, September 28, 2:00 p.m. at Winkler Sommerfeld Mennonite Church with Rev. Abe Wiebe officiating. Interment will follow at the Blumenort Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Manitoba Lung Association, 629 McDermot Ave., Winnipeg, MB R3A 1P6 and/or to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Man. 301-352 Donald St., Winnipeg, MB R3B 2H8.
