SARA (SALLY) LEWIS (DOUPE) Sara (Sally) Lewis (Doupe), born December 9, 1942, died on June 30, 2000, in Winnipeg. She was the adoring and adored wife of the late Harvey Lewis. Her parents, Dr. and Mrs. Joseph Doupe, her father-in-law Herbert Lewis predeceased her. She was the sister of David Doupe and his wife Shirlee of Brisbane, Australia, aunt to Julianna and Linus Doupe and great-aunt to Juliannas children, Duncan and Jack; sister of Dr. Lisa Doupe and aunt to Joseph MacDonald of Toronto. She is survived by her mother-in-law Ida Lewis; sister-in-law of Lillian Samuels and sons, Steven and David. She was a very dear friend to many. "Sallys rare and precious gift, her silent blessing to the world, was her unconditional, generous and open-hearted love. It was always so obvious, so present." A private family interment in St. Johns Cathedral Cemetery in the Doupe family plot has taken place.
