PAULINE HERGESHEIMER (nee BAESSLER) Comforted in the firm belief that our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, died and rose again, Pauline was called to her Eternal Home peacefully on September 28, 2000. Safe in the loving arms of Jesus. Mum is lovingly remembered by her devoted family, daughters, June and Patricia; son John (Jackie) granddaughter Trish; grandsons, David (Lori-Ann) and Allan (Rhonda) of British Columbia and great-grandchildren, Willem and Ewen and Randy and AJ. Also remembering her are her brothers, Rudolph (Lillian) and Walter (Maria) Baessler and by members of her husbands family and her nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband John; brother Adolph and sisters, Olga and Theo and daughter-in-law Maureen. Pauline was born in Antonovka, Russia, on February 21, 1908, and baptized on March 1, 1908. Her family immigrated to Canada and settled in Winnipeg in 1914. Mum worked hard all her life, caring for others and was especially devoted to her family. Funeral service will be held on Monday, October 2, at Holy Cross Lutheran Church, corner of McCalman and Grey, at 11:00 a.m., with interment following at Glen Eden with Pastor R. Kruesel officiating. Thanks to the caring staff at Concordia Hospital and River East Personal Care Home. Flowers are gratefully declined, and donations may be made in Mums memory to Holy Cross Lutheran Church. For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life. John 3:16 Arrangements entrusted to Klassen Funeral Chapel; 338-0331.
