Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryCLARA ERLICHMAN Born to Fannie and Samuel Simkin on May 28, 1912, Clara Erlichman died on September 20, 2000 surrounded by love. She was a devoted and loving daughter, wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Her siblings, Jen and Sam Cohen (deceased), Jim (deceased) and Lil, Saul and Claribel (both deceased), Blackie and Jean (both deceased), and Abe and Fan, looked up to her and valued her. Her precious husband Joe was the focal point of her life in a home that was filled with family, extended family, friends and music. Life cycle events and others such as the breaking of the Yom Kippur fast, a visitor from out of town, a family birthday, were all reasons to have a party and to celebrate. To her children: Ruthy and Hartley Gale, Eby Wold and Sam Goldeen, and Martin and Sherri-Ricki Erlichman, she gave the gift of unconditional love and respect. Her grandchildren, Sheldon and Nancy, David, Susie, and Lisa; Saul and Sue, Danny and Amy; and Ronda and David, Shari and Howie, and Debra and Danny have lost a mentor and an advisor who gave them lessons in menchlechkeit (loving human kindness) by her every deed. Her great-grandchildren, Skyler, Sarah, Harris, Avery, Josh, Max , Jona, Aubrey, Spencer, and Abby, loved their Bobi Clara who loved them back with her whole being. Mom taught us all to enjoy a good book, a good laugh and a good friend; and about the wonders of nature, to take the time to stop and smell the flowers. Our loss is immeasurable. Should you so choose, donations to the Jewish Foundation of Manitoba (477-7525) or the Sharon Home Building Fund (586-9781) may be made in Claras memory.
