Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryRONALD NORTON Ronald Norton, 53, Fort Pierre, South Dakota, formerly of Grand Forks, died Sunday, September 3, 2000 in Sioux Valley Hospital, Sioux Falls, South Dakota. Ronald William Norton was born April 30, 1947, the son of William and Anne (Epler) Norton in St. Boniface, MB. He lived in Brunkild, MB.. and later moved to Thunder Bay, ON., where he graduated from high school. He graduated from UND with a bachelor degree in philosphy, history, geography and education. He received his masters degree in education of statistics from UND. He taught 7th and 8th grade at Manvel North Dakota School. He then worked as a lounge manager and owner in East Grand Forks, Chamberlain, South Dakota and Fort Pierre. He is survived by daughters, Alison (Mike) Geary, East Grand Forks, and Christina Norton, Humbolt, Kansas; a son, William, of Fort Pierre; and three grandchildren. He was predeceased in death by his parents. Service and burial took place at Scotty Philip Cemetery, Fort Pierre, South Dakota. (Hofmeister, Pierre)
