RICHARD GRANT CLEAVER On September 28, 2000, Richard Grant Cleaver passed away at the Dauphin Regional Health Centre with his family by his side. He is survived by his son, Jim (Liz) of Calgary and daughter Ann (Ron Lyons) of Winnipeg; grandsons, Andrew and Ian Lyons and Chris Cleaver; eldest brother, William of Kelowna; sister-in-law Nora Cleaver of Toronto and nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by wife Isabelle and older brothers, Jack and Bob. Born in Toronto, December 23, 1920, he served in the RCAF from 1941 to 1945. After retirement in 1980 from Canada Manpower and Immigration, he became a world traveller and made many wonderful acquaintances and friendships. According to his wishes, cremation has taken place. There will be a graveside service at the Riverside Cemetery, Dauphin, MB on Tuesday, October 3 at 2:00 p.m. There will be a coffee fellowship following the service at the Dauphin First United Church Hall. The family invites all Richards friends to come and share their memories and stories of Dad with them. Should friends so desire, memorial donations to the Dauphin First United Church Memorial Fund (37-3rd Ave. N.W., Dauphin, MB R7N 1H7) or The Canadian Cancer Society will be greatly appreciated. The Sneath-Strilchuk Funeral Service, Dauphin, have care of the arrangements.
