BEVERLEY NEWMAN Suddenly on Thursday, September 28, 2000 Beverley Newman of Stonewall passed away at the St. Boniface Hospital at the age of 47 years. Bev was born on August 5, 1953 in Cowan, MB. She grew up there until moving to The Pas in 1972. While living in The Pas, she met her husband Jim Newman. After getting married, they moved to Stonewall. She worked in the produce department at the local grocery store. Bev is lovingly remembered by her husband of 26 years Jim; son Michael; parents, Stella and Bert Nash; mother-in-law Rose-Ann Newman; sister Joan (George) Didyk; nieces, nephews, one great-niece and many friends. Pallbearers will be David Newman, Robert Harrison, Donald Clark Sr. and Paul James. Her passing is a great loss to us and we will not forget her caring ways and how she always put the needs of others before her own. A graveside service will be held to honour Bevs life at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, October 3, at the Windsor Cemetery (two miles north of the Gunton corner on #7 Highway and 3/4 of a mile west). In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to a charity of choice. MacKenzie Funeral Home, Stonewall in care of the arrangements.
