WALTER STRILESKI Peacefully, on Saturday, September 30th, 2000 at the Betel Home, Selkirk, Walter Strileski passed away at the age of 91 years. Left to cherish his memory is his wife of 51 years, Annie; his daughter Marcie (Murray) son Leonard (Paulette) grandchildren Nadine, Jim (Lisa), Dayna, Leah (Sean), Ryan and Chad; and great-grandchildren Dallas, Dylon and Jesse. He also leaves his niece Shirley and her family as well as family in Winnipeg and Toronto areas. Dad was born on March 3th, 1909 on the farm homesteaded by his parents Kyrylo and Julie Strileckyj and lived there until September 1984 at which time they retired to their new home in Selirk. In 1994, due to ill health, Dad moved to the Betel Home. Cremation has taken place and a Service of Remembrance will be held on Tuesday, October 3rd at 11:00 a.m. in the Gilbart Funeral Chapel, Selkirk with Pastor Terry Throndson officiating. Interment of ashes to follow in the St. Williams Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, if friends so desire, donations may be made in Walters memory to the charity of ones choice.
