GEORGE HENRY NORMAN SUND On Friday, September 29, 2000 at the Deer Lodge Centre. Norman Sund aged 82 years of Winnipeg. Born September 16, 1918 in Woodlands, Man. Norman had been employed with United Grain Growers for many years. He was predeceased by his wife Kathleen in 1981, son Peter in 2000, his parents Henry and Annie Sund and sister Henrietta Fairbairn. Surviving to mourn his loss two daughters Lynne (Garry) Manton of Winnipeg Beach. Heather Jones of Winnipeg; daughter-in-law Sharon Sund of Lac la Hache, B.C.; six grandchildren, Lori (Jason), Kelly (Ian), Jeffery, Paul (Robyn), Nicole (Paul), and Robert; six great-grandchildren; one brother Vernon (Dorothy) of Woodlands; one sister Mary (George) Laing of Grosse Isle, numerous nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held at Deer Lodge Centre Chapel on Wednesday, October 4 at 4:00 p.m. Rev. G. Fulford will officiate. A memorial service will also be held in the Woodlands Community Hall, Woodlands, on Saturday, October 7 at 11:00 a.m. Rev. G. Fulford will officiate. If friends so desire, memorial donations may be made to the Muscular Dystrophy Foundation or to CancerCare Manitoba. MacKenzie Funeral Home in care of arrangements.
