MARY PEGGY FIDLER (nee SPENCE) Peacefully, on Saturday, September 30, 2000 at the Selkirk General Hospital, at the age of 73 years, Peggy slipped into the arms of Jesus. Left to cherish her memory is her loving husband Gerald, of Selkirk; her daughter, Barbara (Larry), grandsons, Chris and Craig of Calgary; stepchildren, Ron Fidler of Winnipeg and Randy (Sharon) grandchildren, Colin, Ronnie, Shandy (Jayson), Janine (Wally) great-grandchildren Deyon, Shagne and Evan, all of Gillam, MB, Lori (Jim), grandson Jayme, of Woodridge, MB; brother-in-law, Cecil (Marguerite) of Selkirk; sister-in-law Jane of Thunder Bay, ON; brothers, Billy and Shadrack of Split Lake; sisters, Amelia of Winnipeg, Maggie of Gillam and Sarah-Jean of Split Lake, as well as numerous nieces and nephews, relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, October 5 at 2:00 p.m. in the Gilbart Funeral Chapel, Selkirk with Pastor Don Petker officiating. A viewing will be held prior to the service. Interment to follow in St. Clements Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, if friends so desire, donations may be made in Marys memory to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Manitoba, 301 - 352 Donald St., Winnipeg, MB, R3B 2H8 or to the Canadian Diabetes Association, 102 - 310 Broadway, Winnipeg, MB, R3C 0S6.
