MARGARET EMILY CAMERON Sadly, on October 1, 2000, Margaret passed away at the age of 61 years. Margaret is survived by her daughter Veralynne (boyfriend John) son Ron (girlfriend Kim) granddaughter Melissa; soulmate Ron (Mac) as well as several brothers, sisters, nieces and nephews. Margaret was predeceased by her father Wilson Cameron and by her mother Vera Sigurdson. She will also be missed by her four-legged, faithful companions, Sam, Tara, Missy, Princess, Charmaine, Bunzie and her two "Gran-dogs" Penny and Jake. Margaret was very well-known for her love of animals. She never gave a second thought to taking in an abused or abandoned animal and giving it a well-deserved, loving home. For all the love she had for Gods little faithful friends, we know that there is a very special place for her in Heaven. Funeral services will be held at the Shaughnessy United Church (corner of Magnus and Railway) on Thursday, October 5 at 11:00 a.m. Reverend MacMillan will officiate. Interment will take place in Brookside Cemetery following the service. Pallbearers will be David Sigurdson, David Lysohirka, Gerry Laferriere, Alan McDonald, Brian McDonald and Shane Shultz. Special thank you to the staff of the Victorian Order of Nurses (V.O.N. Winnipeg) for their care, patience and support given to Margaret with her struggle in coping with her illness, and to the medical staff at Seven Oaks General Hospital for their care and for making Margaret feel as comfortable as possible.
