FRANK HENRY ROY ROBERTS On October 2, 2000, Roy Roberts passed away peacefully at Meadowood Manor. Born in Winnipeg, February 10, 1924, Roy lived in Glencairn, Manitoba where he worked the family farm before returning to Winnipeg in 1950. Roy worked for C.N.R. for 35 years until his retirement in 1985. He retired with his wife Phyllis to Gimli before moving to Meadowood Manor in Winnipeg in 1996. Roy was a simple man with simple tastes, a gentle and caring husband and a good friend to all who knew him. He will be sadly missed and fondly remembered by his wife Phyllis; Darle and Val Hill and Randy and Raymonde Hill; six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; along with nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by brothers, Charlie and James. Special thanks to nurses and staff of Meadowood Manor. A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, October 4 at 11:00 a.m. at Meadowood Manor, upper room, 575 St. Annes Road.
