Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryHARRY LADOBRUK On October 1, 2000, Harry Ladobruk of Emerson, MB passed away at the Health Sciences Centre at the age of 77. He is survived by his wife Betty and brother Tom. He was predeceased by his parents and four sisters. Harry was born on February 14, 1923, in Sarto, MB. In 1941, he joined the R.C.A.F. as a pilot. Upon his discharge, he pursued a career in teaching and taught at various schools, including Emerson, for 37 years. Throughout his life, Harry enjoyed sports, especially curling. His other enjoyment was playing the old-time fiddle and he acquired a large collection of fiddling tapes. According to his wishes, cremation has taken place. There will be a graveside service at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Avenue, on Friday, October 6 at 12:30 p.m., Dr. Carl Ridd officiating. After the service, family and friends are invited to a reception in the Chapel Lawn Reception Centre. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Foundation, 102 - 310 Broadway, Winnipeg, MB R3C 0S6.
