Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryMARTIN RINDALL Peacefully on Saturday, September 30, 2000 at Riverview Health Centre, Martin Rindall passed away at 84 years of age Martin was born in Inwood, Manitoba on January 17, 1916, the third of Helmer and Maria Rindalls four children. He was raised in the Chatfield, Manitoba area where he attended school and worked on the family farm near Buffalo Lake. Early in his career, he worked in the Creamery and Hotel businesses that took him and his wife Edith to the communities of Roland, Glenalla, Fisher Branch and Dominion City. He worked as a carpenter with North American Lumber in Winnipeg prior to joining the Canadian Pacific Railway as a Carman in the Weston Shops, retiring to Garson, Manitoba in 1974. He was a man of many talents, innovative and creative with an ability to look to the future. There was great interest in the outdoors, particularly gardening, hunting, fishing and camping. Martin is survived by his sister Helen (Ernie) Johnson; sister-in-law Pauline Rindall. brother-in-law Robert, (Deanna) Hoborough; sons Brian (Louise), Barry (Yvonne), Ken (Barb) daughter Debbie (Kerry) Poseluzney; grandchildren Brian (Michelle), Shelley Chase, Lori (Terry) Shupe, Anika (Graham) MacLachlan, Linnea, Jason, Kim, Rick (Cheryl) Bredin and Christine Bredin; and great-grandchildren whom he loved very much. His loving wife of 50 years Edith (Hoborough), sister Signe (B1ackburn) Todd and brother Aron predeceased him . The family thanks the staff at Riverview Health Centre, units CD-1 and ward 2 East for the care and compassion shown Martin. Family, friends and caregivers will miss his sense of humor and kibitzing spirit. A memorial service will be held on Friday October 6, 2000 at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Avenue. Service to commence at 10:00 a.m., reception to follow. Family attended interment will be at Brookside Cemetery.
