PAULINE LUCHIT Peacefully on September 29 at the Health Sciences Centre, with family at her side, Pauline Luchit passed away at the age of 82. Predeceased by her husband, William (Bill), her father John Ewanko and brother Steven Walker (Vancouver), she is survived by her sister, Maria Saunders, numerous nieces and nephews with special mention of Nancy Jenner and Clifford Saunders of Winnipeg, and Grace Gregoire of Ottawa. They will miss her dearly. Pauline was married to Bill, her soul mate and love of her life, for 35 years. She worked as a dedicated hairstylist at the Bay Beauty Salon, was devoted to her clientele and retired in 1983 after 25 years of service. Her enjoyment of travel took her to countries such as Japan, Europe, Mexico and the United States. Her love for family took her throughout Canada. Pauline will be remembered as a fine knitter and as a loyal, thoughtful, hardworking, and fun-loving woman. Following cremation a memorial service will be held on Wednesday, October 4th at 1:00 p.m. in Thomson Funeral Chapels, 669 Broadway with Fr. S. Argenziano officiating.
