LEONTINE (LEONA) VANDAL (nee HUPE) Born: September 24, 1911 Peacefully, at Seven Oaks Hospital, October 3, 2000 surrounded by her loving family. She leaves to cherish her memory four daughters, Marie-Jeanne (Marcel) Chatel of Woodridge, Lea (Pat) Chernetski of Winnipeg, Norma (Joseph) Nowak of South Bend Indiana, Delores (Gordon) Dunning of Richer, Manitoba; one son Dollard Vandal of Richer, 32 grand-children, numerous great-grandchildren and numerous great-great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband Arthur; one son Norris; two grandchildren, Leslie Scott and Gisele Chatel; one son-in-law Pat Chernetski; her parents, Daniel Hupe and Julie Ducharme; three sisters, Maria Lebleu, Elma Lebleu and Delphine Harrison; three brothers, Noel Hupe, Alex Hupe, Arthur Hupe. A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, October 6, at 2:00 p.m. in the P. Coutu Funeral Chapel, 156 Marion Street. The family would like to express their thanks to the nurses and staff on the 3rd floor unit 4 of the Seven Oaks Hospital.
