STANLEY "JACK" MARTENS 1942 - 2000 On Tuesday, October 3, 2000 at Grace Hospital, Winnipeg, Jack Martens, aged 58 years, of Winnipeg, went to his eternal rest. Jack was a manager for A.C. and S. Contracting in Winnipeg for over 40 years. He leaves to mourn his passing his beloved wife Doreen; son Brent and Kimberly of Regina, SK, granddaughter Heather; and one daughter Dayna (Ryan) of Winnipeg; his mother Esther Martens of Morden; one sister Shirley and husband Trevor Stambuski of Morden; five brothers, Bill and Shirley of Creston, BC, Ralph and Marina of Navisivik, NWT, Bob and Marge of Waldport, Oregon, Victor and Mary of Nova Scotia and Pat and Mary Martens of Calgary, AB; and many nieces and nephews. Cremation has taken place. Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, October 7 at 10:00 a.m. at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Ave., Winnipeg with Major Katherine McFarlane officiating. Ash inurnment will take place in Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens.
