DANIEL GARTH STENSON 1971 - 2000 On October 2, 2000, as the result of a tragic accident, our dear Daniel passed away at the age of 28 years. He leaves to mourn and cherish his memory his loving family, wife Megan; mother Dianne (Leo) Lamoureux; father Garth (Marleen) Stenson; sister Donna (Wayne) Acacia. Also left to mourn are his grandmothers, Violet Stenson and Joan East; his stepsisters, Allyson Cockell and Lehanne Dutiaume, as well as numerous aunts, uncles and many, many friends. Daniel was born and raised in Winnipeg. He loved the outdoors and was an avid sports enthusiast, enjoying fishing, camping and hiking. Dan also collected model cars. Dan was big-hearted and outgoing - loved everyone and was loved in return by everyone. We shall dearly miss him and keep his memory dear. A visitation will be held Friday evening between 7:00 and 8:00 p.m. at the Transcona Funeral Chapel, 1800 Day St. A service in his memory will be conducted by Pastor Bruce Logan on Saturday, October 7, at 11:00 a.m., also at the chapel. Should friends so desire, memorial donations may be made to MADD Foundation. Transcona Funeral Chapel in care of arrangements.
