MICHAEL CHORNEY Mr. Michael Chorney, aged 89 years, of Armstrong Manor, Beausejour, formerly of Brokenhead, passed away in his sleep on Thursday, October 5, 2000, at his residence. He is survived by his sisters-in-law, Sophie Chorney of Beausejour and Mary Chorney of Windsor, Ont., also many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents Prokop and Nellie; five brothers, Nick, Bill, John, Steve, and Pete and four sisters, Annie, Minnie, Mary and Pearl. Funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 12, at 11:00 a.m. at the Sobering Funeral Chapel, Park Avenue East, Beausejour, with Rev. Deacon Victor Humniski, the celebrant. Interment will follow in the Brokenhead Ukrainian Catholic cemetery. In lieu of flowers, if friends so desire, donations may be made to the Beausejour Hospital, Box 1690, Beausejour, Man., R0E 0C0.
