ELEANOR MAY DODDS Peacefully, on Wednesday, October 4, 2000, at Riverview Health Centre, Eleanor Dodds passed away at the age of 77 years. She was predeceased by her parents George and Lena Conway; her husband Vernon; sister Mary; brother Charles and her longtime companion Duncan MacLean. She is survived by her brother Jack (Pauline) sister-in-law Elma Conway. She will be lovingly remembered by her devoted niece Norma and her husband Ernie Moske; nieces, Joan, Joanne, Carolyn and many grandnieces and grandnephews. Eleanor worked at Merchants Consolidated for many years, retiring in the mid 70s. Eleanor was a compassionate person who spent many years devoted to the care and comfort of her mother. A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, October 11 at 2:00 p.m. at Neil Bardal Inc., 984 Portage Avenue, entrance on Aubrey Street. The family would like to thank Dr. Maxwell and his staff, especially Bonnie, at the Victoria Hospital for all the kindness and caring that they have shown to Eleanor over the years. We would also like to extend our special thanks to Dr. Marr and nurses Diane and Stella and our "special angel" nurse Sheila as well as all the staff and aids on 3E that made her daily life more comfortable at Riverview Health Centre.
