MARGRET (PEGGY) BARTLEY Margret passed away peacefully on Friday, October 6, 2000 at the Riverview Health Centre. Margret is survived by her beloved husband Arthur of 57 years; sisters Mary, Nancy, Edith and Nona (Chuck), many nieces and nephews and great-nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents and four brothers. Margret was employed by The Bay for over 27 years. She as an active member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch # 116 Ladies Auxiliary from 1962 to 1994 and was the President of the Kenbur Club for two years. Margret loved curling, golfing and baseball, especially her beloved Toronto Blue Jays. She enjoyed baking for whatever the occasion and her home was always open to everyone. The family would like to thank Dr. Marr and the nurses on 3 East at the Riverview Health Centre; Dr. Tanner, V.O.N. nurses and the staff from home care for all of the care and efforts. Donations in Margrets memory may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or to the charity of ones choice. Margrets memorial service will be held in the chapel of the Glen Lawn Funeral Home, 455 Lagimodiere Blvd. on Wednesday, October 11, 2000 at 2:00 p.m. Interment Glen Lawn Memorial Gardens.
