PHYLLIS COUTURE (nee DUREAULT) Peacefully, at the St. Boniface General Hospital, Phyllis Couture passed away on October 8, 2000 at the age of 77 years, surrounded by her family. Phyllis was born in Morris, Man. on October 1, 1923. She was predeceased by her parents and two brothers Gilles and Martial Dureault. Surviving are her children: Elaine (Ken) Pockett and their children Jeffrey, Kevin, Kelly and Kyle of North Vancouver; Rochelle (Bob) Murrell and their children: Aleeta, Sarah and Melissa of Winnipeg; Rick (Betty) and their daughter Nicole of Burnaby, B.C., and Kelly (Tim) Wheeler of Calgary. She is also survived by her brothers and sisters: Annette (Ed) Higham, Armand (Simone) Dureault, Ida (Len) Sulkers, Gerald (Barb), Dolores (Emile) Dupas and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. The Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, October 12 at 1:00 p.m. in the Desjardins Funeral Chapel, 357 Des Meurons Street. Interment to follow in the St. Boniface Cemetery. A special thank you is extended to the staff of the St. Boniface Hospital O.R. and S.I.C.U. In lieu of flowers, for those who so wish, donations may be made to the S.I.C.U.
