JANET DOREEN BOYLE August 19,1933 - October 6, 2000 Peacefully at her residence with her family at her side, on Friday, October 6, 2000 Janet, beloved wife of Thomas passed away at the age of 67 years. Janet was predeceased by her parents Dr. Donald Black and her mother Ellanor Black, and her infant son Craig. She will be sadly missed by her husband of 30 years Thomas and her brother Don Black. Children, Candace (Danny) ONeill of California, Brett (Cydni) Bristow of Winnipeg, Grant Bristow of Edmonton, Brad (Jackie) Boyle of Toronto, Sherry (Mike) Boyle of Toronto. Janets many loving grandchildren, Rob, Bridget, Lindsey, Haley, Nicolle, Daniel, Andrea, and Brandon, and her great-grandchildren Tyler and Madison. Janet was born and raised in Winnipeg and began her career as an employee of the Bank of Nova Scotia in Winnipeg. Janet and Thomas were married in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia and later settled in Clarkson, Ontario where they enjoyed many years of happiness at the family home entertaining friends and family. Janets commitment and dedication to the Bank of Nova Sotia resulted in her achieving a senior management position that she enjoyed until her retirement back to Winnipeg in 1988. A Memorial Service in celebration of Janets life will take place on Wednesday, October 11 at 10:00 a.m. in Thomson Funeral Chapels, 669 Broadway. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to the Canadian Cancer Society, Manitoba Division, 193 Sherbrook St., Winnipeg, Man. R3C 2B7.
