Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryIRENE CRUICKSHANK Mom left us peacefully on Oct 7, 2000 at the Charleswood Care Centre. She was predeceased by her husband Harvey in 1983, after 42 years of marriage. She will be forever remembered and loved by her four daughters and their families: The Denikes - Carol, Steve, Heather (Cam Neufeld) and Neil; The McBeths - Pat, Bruce, Paul and Cheryl; The Harrisons - Kathy, Barry, Kelly and Mark; The Kearns - Chris and Frank. Irene was born in Saltcoats, Sask. in 1921, later moving to Winnipeg, where she and Harvey raised their family in West Kildonan and St. James. Mom spent many happy summers with family & friends at her cottage at Nutimik Lake. Irene will long be remembered for her wonderful sense of humour, her quick wit and her desire to live life to the fullest. The family thanks the staff of the Charleswood Care Centre and Grace Hospital for their care and attention. A memorial service will be held Wednesday, October 11 at 2:00 p.m. at the Salvation Army Heritage Park Temple, 825 School Road, St. James. As Irene was affected by both Alzheimers and Lung cancer, donations in her memory may be made to CancerCare Manitoba or Alzheimer Manitoba.
