Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryMARLENE RANVILLE (nee PATRICK) June 19, 1949 - October 8, 2000 Peacefully, after a long and courageous battle with cancer, Sharon Marlene Ranville, age 51, passed away at the Health Sciences Centre, surrounded by the love of her family and friends. Marlenes memory will be forever cherished by her best friend; Walter Ranville; her sons, Billy Joe and Paul; her mother Olive and brother James of Saskatoon, SK, numerous aunts, uncles and cousins in Saskatoon, especially auntie Mary; sisters and brothers-in-law, nieces and nephews. She will be sadly missed by her Winnipeg family; especially Michelle, David and Kevin Ranville; grandchildren, Matthew and Caitlin and many special friends, including Phillip and Shirley Johnson and family, Grandma Rose, Donna Chief, Barb Ranville, Rhonda Ranville and Joanne Kellow. Marlene was predeceased by her father Nick; Wallys parents Emile and Mary; brother-in-law Gordon; and sister-in-law Valerie. Marlene was born June 19, 1949 in Saskatoon, SK and moved to Winnipeg in 1977. She was a warm and loving person with a smile for everyone. Her sons were her life and she was extremely proud of them both. Marlene was a devoted Hockey Mom and Soccer Mom. She will be greatly missed by the players and parents of the soccer and hockey teams her sons play with. A special thank you to the doctors and nursing staff at HSC who cared for Marlene throughout her long illness. At Marlenes request, cremation will take place. A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, October 12, at 2:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St. CROPO FUNERAL CHAPEL in care of arrangements, 586-8044.
